Refund and Returns Policy

All Premier products shipped by truck must be inspected for damage prior to the truck driver leaving the site.  If damage is found it must be documented on the bill of lading prior to the driver leaving the site.  If this does not occur, we are not able to replace the damaged product. 

Solar Lighting

  • Premier documents the serial number of every light shipped which immediately activates the product warranty.   
  • All SL and SLC LED light versions will be free from defective materials and workmanship under normal and intended use, subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, for a period of three (3) years from the date of purchase by the original purchaser.  Premier will repair or replace, at Premier’s discretion, products found to be defective in material and workmanship in the relevant warranty period so long as the warranty conditions are satisfied.   
  • The BargeSafe series of LED barge light products will be free from defective materials and workmanship under normal and intended use, subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase by the original purchaser. 
  • Premier warrants that any LED light products fitted with telemetry equipment including but not limited to AIS, GSM, GPS, RF will be free from defective materials and workmanship under normal and intended use, subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase by the original purchaser. 
  • If any of the products listed above are fitted with rechargeable batteries, the battery will be free from defect for a period of one (1) year when used within original manufacturer’s specifications and instructions.  All products fitted with non rechargeable batteries, the battery will be free from defect for a period of one (1) year when used within original manufacturer’s specifications and instructions. 

Floats

  • Premier warrants that the floats will be free from defective materials and workmanship under normal intended use. 
  • Warranty is 15 years pro-rated from the date of purchase.  Premier will repair or replace, at Premier’s discretion, a product found to be defective in material and workmanship, provided the returns policy and warranty conditions are satisfied. 

 
Dock Accessories

  • All dock accessories will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase by the original purchaser.  
  • Products included are the dock bumpers, dock corners, buoys and dock wheels. 
  • Premier will repair or replace, at Premier’s discretion, products found to be defective in material and workmanship in the relevant warranty period so long as the return policy and warranty conditions are satisfied.   

 

Returns Policy and Warranty Conditions

  • The product must be packaged and returned to Premier by the customer at his or her sole expense.  On receipt of product, Premier will assess the product and advise the customer as to whether the claimed defect is covered by this warranty. 
  • If a replacement product is required prior to returning a product, the customer will be charged for the replacement product pending warranty review. 
  • The warranty is void and inapplicable if: 
  • the product has been used or handled other than in accordance with the instructions in the owner’s manual and any other information or instructions provided to the customer by Premier. 
  • the product has been deliberately abused, or misused, damaged by accident or neglect or in being transported. 
  • the defect is due to the product being repaired or tampered with by anyone other than a Premier authorized repair personnel. 
  • Rechargeable batteries have a limited number of charge cycles and may eventually need to be replaced.  Typical battery replacement is 3-4 years.  Long term exposure to high temperatures can shorten battery life.  Batteries used or stored in a manner inconsistent with the manufacturer’s specifications and instructions shall not be covered under this warranty. 
  • No modifications to the original specifications shall be made without written approval from Premier. 
  • Input voltage shall not exceed those recommended for the particular product. 
  • Some products can be fitted with 3rd party power supplies and accessories but then are covered under the 3rd party warranty terms and conditions. 
  • Warranty does not cover any damage caused by the incorrect placement of the battery in solar lantern models. 
  • Warranty does not cover any damage or defect caused to any product as a result of water flooding or any other acts of nature.
