Premier Materials’ battery powered navigation lights are one of the most advanced in their class and incorporate a host of innovative features designed to make each unit extremely user-friendly. The Sealite BargeSafe™ range of LED barge lights are certified to UL 1104 and COLREG-72 compliant with >3nm visible range.
The world-class LED lens is designed by Sealite and achieves precise intensity and sectoring requirements from a single LED light source. This design helps achieve a lower operational current compared with alternate LED barge lights making the unit ultra-efficient and offering a battery run time of up to 45 nights.
These battery powered navigation lights will run on a 6v or 12v dry-cell or can be supplied with an advanced rechargeable battery pack and charge controller. The advanced onboard circuitry incorporates a DC/DC converter which will maintain the required light source intensity over varying battery voltage.
The light casing and handle are injection molded from UV-stabilized polycarbonate which offer enormous impact resistance and long operational life. The casings are colored for easy identification of light output color.
Each of our battery powered navigation lights come with a magnetic base that provides strong fixing in position to the barge deck ensuring the light remains secure in the harshest of conditions.

All Round 360 degree Light Configuration (BL-3-360)
The Sealite BargeSafe™ battery powered navigation light is also available as a 360 degree all round light with either flashing or steady-on flash characteristics. The only color option available for the 360 degree light is white.
Optional Peep-light (BL-PL)
Sealite BargeSafe(tm) is available with an optional Peep-Light for the BLY-3 masthead light to assist in the navigation of in-land waterways. This blue steady-on light is used to guide mariners when maneuvering the barge into dock and to help determine the swing of the bow when viewed from the stern. The BL-PL comes standard with 12v rechargeable battery connection.
